The problem is that both the Bible and the Qur’an were written by men.
Yes, they were written by men and too often twisted by men to justify control, silence, and abuse.
But that still doesn’t excuse violence in the name of marriage.
You can’t blame scripture to avoid holding abusers accountable.
The real problem isn’t that men wrote it, it’s that some men weaponize it.
